Born of love and loss, grief and gratitude, "Notes to Nikki" is a collection of improvisations and original compositions recorded in loving memory of Nikki Walter (Eric's wife, Jackie's mother) who died on January 30, 2020 after a brave, nine-month battle with cancer. Anchored by Jackie's dynamic oud playing and Eric's soulful explorations on wooden flute, this is a uniquely personal and heartfelt musical tribute to a beautiful, intelligent, kind and caring woman who touched the lives of many people.

Praise for "Notes to Nikki"

“Incredibly peaceful, meditative and beautiful music.”

“…beautiful, ethereal musical compositions…haunting and lovely works”

“It's an (unsurprisingly) spectacular listen, in a quiet, subdued way.”

“…so beautiful and so profound.”

“It is very beautiful music.”

"Hauntingly beautiful. Jacob’s oud playing is wonderful, Eric’s flute floats on the breeze. There is a catharsis that runs throughout the tracks; gentle, carefully articulated, very moving."

"This is incredibly emotive music."

"...lovely esoteric music...free, spiritual, deeply sensitive and a wonderful offering to wife and mother."

"It far surpasses beautiful."
